Greetings and salutations!

I’ve just spent the past 6 hours planning, setting up, and editing this website.  That’s including the breaks I took to eat ice cream and clean my room.  Most of that time that I didn’t spend eating yummy things or grumbling over the mess in my abode was taken up with: A) calling tec support to get my first account deleted and refunded because I accidentally typed in the wrong domain name and B) talking to tec support on chat to figure out how the heck to format this silly thing.  They made helpful suggestions, but in the end I just kept clicking and trying one thing and another until I finally figured it out.

Finally, success! *pats self on back*  I will now take this moment to laud and honor all the brave people who have set up their own websites, especially those who didn’t have the aid of a really useful and relatively self-explanatory website editor like WordPress.

It’s very exciting creating a website.  It’s like building your own little castle, or cottage, or house by the sea, whichever you prefer, that you can then invite all the world into so you can share things together.  In the case of this website, it’s to share writing.  But websites can share anything their creators desire (except diseases, we hope they don’t share those).

Instead of ruminating more on the amazingness of the world-wide web, which is what my Muse wants to do, I will force myself to end here, so that I can go to bed by approximately 3:30 am, which is what I want to do.  That’s including the time it takes to brush my teeth, by the way.  Goodnight all, and expect more to come!
